Hello September ~ What’s New At Twisted Crochet

Can you feel the shift from summer to fall? I’ve been doing everything possible to hold off posting my crochet pumpkins and all my new makes in fall colors. I may have faltered a time or two, but now we’re on to fall…full steam ahead!

If you remember, I had some important shop updates. The first being that all my patterns would be a flat $4.50 per pattern. And if you know me, I like to bundle things to offer you savings. So, I’ve got pattern bundles that save you anywhere from 40% to 50% on patterns.

New items are being uploaded almost every day to my online shop. I will be listing my pumpkin pincushions this week. Prices range from $6 to $15 for individual pincushions and my pumpkin stacks will be around $30.

As I write this, I’m sitting at my cousin, Valerie’s, kitchen table. Rick and I have been at her lake house on the Vermont/Canadian border since Wednesday. We traditionally come up every Labor Day weekend but since I quit my corporate job in March, I’m not tied to someone else’s schedule. We’ll be driving home tomorrow. Later this week, we’ll have two of our grandkids staying with us while their parents enjoy an extended weekend in Maine.

UPCOMING EVENTS

September 15, 2021 – I’m taking part in Pumpkin Palooza. My Twisted Country Pumpkin pattern will be a free download for 24 hours!! The beauty of this pumpkin pattern is that there’s now sewing required. The pattern creates oodles of texture. And the stem can be a stick, cinnamon stick, wine cork, or even a crocheted stem.

September 18, 2021 – If you’re local to southern New Hampshire, please visit my booth at Derryfest in McGregor Park. I’ll have plenty of beanies, cowls, scarves, ponchos, and yes, Pumpkin Pincushions available to purchase. My super creative friend, Nora, will be manning the booth with me and she’ll have plenty of her gorgeous makes available, too.

NEW PATTERNS

Over the past two weeks, I’ve released three patterns:

You can purchase the patterns separately or I have two bundles:

Coal Creek Canyon Cowl and Beanie. This set is available and ready to ship. You can also download the digital patterns!
The Serendipity Shawl is a one of a kind design and now available to purchase in my shop.

I hope to be blogging a lot more, adding free patterns to my blog, and generally being more engaged both here and with my various yarn and crochet groups!

Now it’s your turn – tell me what you’ve been up to this summer and share your plans for September. How can I best support and help you?
